Kolkata Metro Railway Recruitment 2015 – Act Apprentice Posts: Kolkata Metro Railway has issued notification for the recruitment of Act Apprentice vacancies for imparting training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 & Apprenticeship Rules, 1962. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 13-02-2015. Name of the Posts: Act Apprentice
Name of Designated Trade:
1. Fitter: 10 Posts
2. Electrician: 03 Posts
3. Welder (G + R): 01 Post
4. Machinist: 01 Post
5. Plumber: 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 15 to 22 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Passed in any Designated Trade from ITI, Passed Matriculation/ Madhyamik or its equivalent examination from recognized board .
Selection Process: Candidates will be called for verification of the original testimonials and their physical fitness.
Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs. 20/- in Crossed I.P.O in favour of FA & CAO, Metro Railway, Kolkata, payable at GPO/ Kolkata. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format along with all copies of certificates, age, qualification, caste, two self addressed envelops (10″x5″), one recent passport size photograph to the Dy. Chief Personal Officer, Metro Rail Bhavan, 33/ 1, J.L, Nehru Road, Kolkata-700071 on or before 13-02-2015.
