Parliament of India Recruitment 2020 – Parliament of India invites job application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Translator in Lok Sabha Secretariat on Direct Recruitment basis for 47 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of Master’s degree within the age limit 27 years are eligible to apply for this job. Eligible candidates can apply through postal on or before 27 July 2020. Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognised University with English as a subject at the Degree Level OR
- Master’s Degree in English from a recognised University with Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level OR
- Master’s Degree in any subject from a recognised University with Hindi and English as subjects at the Degree
Level OR - Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi/English medium from a recognised University and English/Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level AND
- Diploma/Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from any University/ Institute
recognised by the Government OR - 02 years experience of Translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government offices
Upper Age Limit (as on 27.07.2020): 27 years (29 years for the candidates having the prescribed translation work experience of 02 years)
Upper age limit is relaxable by:
- SC & ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- GEN/EWS – Nil

Parliament of India Selection Process for Translator:
- Selection will be based on the written examination (Preliminary Examination, Main Examination)
