Qualifications: At least 2nd Class Bachelor Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering course from recognised College/University/IIT or other recognised Technical Institute offering Degree course in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in teaching.

Other Qualification:(a) Non Engineering background:
(i) Must have completed the basic course of Bachelor of Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry from a recognised University and equivalent. (ii) Hold a certificate in Soil and Water Conservation/Graduate Assistant/Ranger Training Course from the Training Centre conducted by or recognised by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) or the Government of Meghalaya with at least 5 years field experience in Soil and Water Conservation.
(b) Engineering background:
(i) Must have completed the basic course of B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/Agriculture Engineering from a
recognised University and equivalent.

i. Office Counter of MPSC, Office, Headquarter, Shillong.
ii. MPSC Cell at Tura, Nongstoin, Jowai, Baghmara, Williamnagar & Nongpoh
On any working day between 10:30 A.M. to 5: 00 P.M. till the last date
b) Applications can also be sent by registered post so as to reach the Commission’s office at Shillong not later than the last date prescribed for off-line mode. The Commission will not be responsible for postal lost or transit delay.
